Notes: Went for our end-of-the-year Daisy party last year. Huge success! The host was friendly, engaged the kids, got them to do a few things outside their comfort zone. Worked some of the Daisy virtues into the program. Allowed us to bring outside food in for snack time. Great place! Can earn gymnastics fun patch.
FOX 31/KWGN Studios: Location: 6th & Speer, downtown Denver

Notes: Plan for a weekday the girls are out of school. Every weekday at 10a, Fox 31 does "The Everyday Show" live in-studio. Girls can be members of the audience and will likely be on TV at the end of the show. Plan to arrive between 9-9:15a, show is from 10-11a, then get a tour of the studios, done around 11:30a. Good idea to bring snacks/drinks to have before heading home -- should be able to eat them in the break room. Can earn TV tour fun patch.

Notes: We went on a Thurs after school. The girls were given a brief tour and told about the services the Action Center provides. Then they helped sort clothes. They did great, but definitely needed adult supervision! We had a ratio of 3-4 girls for one adult, which worked out pretty well. Can earn the community service fun patch.
